Who we are
Hivexel is a digital studio based in Vila do Conde, Porto, Portugal. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email address and message content you submit.
- Analytics (only with consent): pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type and similar usage data via Google Analytics.
- Technical data: standard server and security logs (IP address, timestamps) needed to operate and protect the site.
Why we use your data
- To reply to enquiries — legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
- To improve the website — analytics cookies only after you accept (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To keep the site secure and working — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where data is processed
Form messages are emailed to us via Brevo and may be stored in HubSpot (EU region) so we can follow up. Analytics, if enabled, is provided by Google. These providers may process data outside Portugal under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
Cookies
Essential cookies or local storage may be used for language preference and remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies load only if you accept the cookie banner. You can change your mind by clearing site data for hivexel.com and revisiting the site.
How long we keep data
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable business records (typically up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required for a project or legal obligation). Analytics retention follows Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
Under GDPR / RGPD you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
